Heritage tourism

The municipality Ražanac is characterized by long-standing tradition of summer tourism during the summer months, the tourist offer of the region is based on natural beauty, sea and cultural heritage.
The first traces of life in the area date back to the mid Stone Age, and are kept at the Archaeological Museum in Zagreb. The name “Ražanac” was first mentioned back in the 1332nd year on the list of goods of Zadar royalty Vučine Martinušić.
Development of cultural tourism, especially heritage tourism, is one of the priorities for the development of Dalmatia – Zadar defined by the Tourism Development Strategy of the Republic of Croatia until 2020. year.
